Restaurant

The Rock and Wreck Restaurant and Lanuns Bar is a one of a kind spot built from the spars, keels, decks and actual chunks of old traditional Belitung fishing boats.   We bought 5 sinking vessels off of local fishermen and one fisher women chain sawed, ripped apart and dismantled them.  Then we pieced them together to make a space like no other.

The pillars are sea worm carved keels, the lights are buoys hanging from boat rib chandeliers, the walls are decks complete with hatches and the bar is an actual boat.  We chopped one boat into four sections for the beach side tables.  The locals used to think Jeff was a crazy white guy at first but now that its all come together they see that there is value in using and reusing.

We have hired an off island chef to come in to do the kitchen and do the menu he is the only non local employee we have used.  So we invite you to come visit us have a nice meal and a cold drink while enjoying unsurpassed views of turquoise seas and white sand beaches.
